My Sustainability Powtoon

This Is my Sustainability powtoon. This term for Inquiry we have been learning about Sustainability. First we had to go to the Enviro centre and find out some information about sustainability. Then we had to fill in a KWL. With the info we found out about we had to make a powtoon out of it. What I enjoyed about this powtoon was it was really fun because I love doing powtoon i'ts so fun What I found hard about this was on some slides I didn't enough info for some topics. I loved this Inquiry term's topic it was so fun.

My Speech

This is my 2019 speech it's about why it suck to be the oldest child I hope I can convince you about why it does suck to be the oldest child.What I enjoyed about doing my speech this year was it was really easy to write because it was what was happening in the present. What I found Challenging was when I did my screencastify I couldn't find anywhere quiet so that why you can't really hear my voice that well but i'm sure you can hear it a little bit.
What we had to do first was we brainstormed ideas to start us off. So basically I had a lot of decisions to make so the topic I actually used wasn't on my list.

Parking Meter Maths

This is my maths I did This morning. What we had to do was add up money to make $3:50. We have a time to start off from it was 3:15 pm and we had to figure out how long would $3:50 give us it took us to 5:00 pm. I found it challenging because we were getting confused on how much money last how much time. I enjoyed this maths because it involves money and I like doing maths around money.

This is my Polyline. We did this for manaiakalani. We had to take a picture of ourselves and polyline it and colour it. It was hard because it took so long to make. I liked doing it because I like doing art on my chromebook.

Netiquette

We have been learning how to use Piktochart to explain what Netiquette. What I found challenging was at first I didn't know what Netiquette mean until somebody told me what it meant. Something I enjoyed was all the colour and backgrounds and all the facts I knew and put it on my Piktochart.

The Enviro Centre

This was our day out we went to the HB williams memorial library. I really enjoyed this trip because we  got to learn how rubbish and plastic really affects the world and how it can really hurt sea life including animals. Something I found challenging was the garden scavenger hunt because we had  to identify which vege or fruit was which. We actually got a lot of exercising done because we walked everywhere we went  so my legs are killing me. I hope we get to do another trip like this one because it was so much FUN !!!

What this learning is we got a door template and write about our house..

If a stranger came to live with you they would have to know the rules of your house.what i found challenging was we have lots of rules in my house but I could only write a few of them. What I enjoyed about this activity was we got to but it on our blog and use pic collage to make it look fancy.

My Fish Art

This is my fish art. This learning shows that I worked together in a group of three and made. I found this challenging because I took really long to make the tail and the fins. I enjoyed this activity because I love doing art  and I got to work with my friends and have fun.

My Conflict Powtton

 

 This learning show that we were learning how to make a conflict powtoon. Some of our focus's of this activity are What is Conflict? What causes Conflict? How do we react to conflict? How do we Resolve conflict? Our big idea are Conflict is healthy Conflict can bring a rollercoaster of emotions that is just some of our big ideas. I enjoyed this activity because we got to use an unfamiliar app and found it really COOL!!! I found this challenging because it took so long to make because I had to add every single detail  could . I really liked this activity I hope I could do this again

My Magic Maths

This is our magis maths. We could have made lots of magic squares but we only showed one of the ways you can solve them. I found this tricky because we could only pick three of the six numbers and we had to get the three numbers right or the answer would be wrong but we got the numbers right and got the right answer

If I Were A Fall Tree

This learning shows what my life would be like if I was a Fall tree.
What I found challenging was that we had to be specific about our tree life. What I liked about this was we got to explain all the things we like about Fall and make it into a story.

So basically what we had to do was think back to the time we got our first pet.There we had to jump into our pet shoes and write and Journal entry about the first three days of our lives in our new home.What I found challenging was I got my Cat ages ago and some parts I couldn't remember so some parts I had to make it up. I made this poster because sometimes when we are in a conflict we don't know what to do and we do the wrong thing.So I made this poster to tell people how to control themselves when they are in a conflict.Hopefully this help some people to do the right thing when they are in a conflict.

My Dog Maths

What we have been learning is to add up number to a certain  number and then multiple it to get another number.What I enjoyed most that is was fun and  a little bit tricky. What we found challenging was  every time we got an answer is would be wrong. What we would have done differently is found the right number to add up to the right number so we could get the right answer.

I really liked that this tip is very easy to go the an other tab you have got open

I found it hard because I thought is was for going up and down the page but I realised it was to go to different tabs you have open

Being a YEAR 6 is probably the most hard year ever because of the transition of primary school to intermediate at the end of the year. The expectation bar is so much higher in everything you do. Anyway i'm happy I have a great teacher and I have new class to explore.
